Surpize! And here’s my new website! And as you can tell from reading my last post, I had to completely scrap the other idea of me holding up the site. Yes, it was a really awesome design, but the navigation and dropping-page code made the site less user friendly than I thought. The negatives? You don’t get to constantly see a picture of me when you spend your entire day on my site. The positives? You get a much more fluid and easier-to-read version of my site. Let me know what ya think!
Coming Now: My New Website!
April 24th, 2010Coming Soon: My New Website!
April 12th, 2010So I began my switch from prototype to jQuery several weeks ago, and it has been awesome. I have already made some pretty neat pages with it and some cool new features I learned have inspired me to revamp my current website. Soooooo, I am in the process of designing and coding a new site that is radically different from the current version. My new site will focus around social media and my hobbies, including facebook, twitter, and flickr. I am working with all three of these API’s and plan on making, what I think, is a very new and unique browsing experience. I don’t wanna give too much away right now, but Ill post a draft mock-up of the new homepage. I’ll post some progress of my work as I get things done, so keep checking me feeds.

When I was your age, we had to apply for jobs with funny videos
March 29th, 2010I completely forgot about this video I made when I applied for the internship position at Poke last summer. I wish all jobs took video resumes like them; I somehow find it easier to spend a night making a funny 3 minute video with some friends then writing a short cover letter. I didn’t end up accepting the offer to work there, but who knows what might happen in the future! Either way, these guys are awesome, and they are looking for more interns this summer. So start making videos!
Facebook – YOU GET ME!
December 10th, 2009I don’t know why I bother going to any websites other than Facebook. Through their futuristic, techy, web2.0y algorithm, they are able to sum up my entire life in a single ad.

Granted this was sandwiched between two ads asking me to apply to the CIA and study chiropractic, FACEBOOK JUST GETS ME.
Now if only I could poke someone now without 1824523 ajax errors popping up.
Sorry 30 Rock….I’ve met someone else
November 3rd, 2009This weekend, I decided to catch up on every tv show I watch and even try some new ones. Wow, do I have some new favorites. First, there is Community on NBC. It is basically 30 Rock but in college. It has an amazing cast, including that guy from “the soup”, that other guy from “derrick comedy”, that funny guy from “the hangover”, and Chevy Chase! Just watch the first few episodes and you won’t be sorry, I think. It kind of has that Office-ish feeling but with a better looking version of Pam. And then there’s “Bored to Death.” I don’t know what’s so funny about it, but I cannot stop watching. It has an even BETTER cast, including Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifinakis, and the guy from Cheers. In short, it’s about a guy who is so bored that he pretends to be a private detective, and yes that sounds funnier than it actually is, but you should still give it a shot. Here are some clips!
