I came across a post on Techcrunch today regarding a sneak peak at RIM’s new Blackberry OS 6. Seeing as the Blackberry’s operating system hasn’t actually changed in the past few years, I was kind of excited. Maybe I would switch back once again to a Blackberry and return to the glorious days of obnoxiously pinging my friends. Maybe RIM had finally created some legitimate competition to the sleek and intuitive iPhone OS.
Then I watched the video…
I cannot think of a better way to show just how out of touch you are with the young, hip mobile demographic then to have a video filled with faceless people dancing like crazy to a Black Eyed Peas song. Oh wait, yes I can:
I cannot imagine how HP’s acquisition of Palm could possibly yield any less weird commercials for the Pre. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
